TOP 5 UNIQUE
WEDDING FAVOURS
By Luno & Stella Design Co-Ordinator, Emily Coombes

For a long time, wedding favours have been a part of the Reception that are remembered at the last minute, and many will just throw a few chocolate truffles in a little bag and call it a day. Let’s be honest though, how many of them are forgotten and left on the tables at the end of the night? Less and less couples are choosing to include them on their day, as they can be branded as a waste of money. But if you get it right, they can be a truly memorable part of the day that your guests will love! Here are our top 5 wedding favours your guests will be sure to take home!

1. Plants

Not only do they act as cute table décor during your reception, but mini plants are the perfect take home that your loved ones can cherish. Whether this comes in the form of bouquets in little vase’s, or miniature succulents, or even a bag of seeds, it is a gift that will remind them of your special day for years to come.

2. Wedding playlist

How better to relive the night through the music you all grooved to? Throw it back to the 90’s when making mixtapes were all the rage, and create CD’s with your wedding night best tunes. One thing’s for sure, those with a long journey home the next day will love you for it!

3. A little treat for those dancing feet!

This may not be what you think of as a gift for your guests, but I can assure you, this is one you do not want to miss out on. Mainly for the ladies of the night, why not bring out a big basket of slippers or flip-flops for them to change in to. Not only will this keep your dancing queens dancing, but it will protect those toes from any unseen hazards that are bound to appear as the night goes on.

4. Doggie bags

This may not be directly for your guests, but all of the dog lovers are bound to go crazy at this favour. Especially perfect for those Bride and Grooms-to-be with fur babies of their own, why not leave other fur pawrents a little treat to take home to theirs? Whether it includes a few treats, a small toy or even a bow tie (my personal fave!), they are bound to be a big hit!

5. Midnight snacks

This may be the only food favour I can get on board with – a midnight snack pack! The wedding night is bound to get wild, whether you’re the Bride and Groom, a member of the Wedding Party, or a close friend. With drinks flowing, minds will be spinning and tummy’s will be grumbling, so why not send your guests to bed with a little snack for later. They will definitely appreciate this in the early hours!

So there you have it, 5 unconventional, unique favours that we know your guests will love. Which ones are you going to include in your wedding day?
