TOP TIPS ON ALL THINGS
PHOTO BOOTHS!

Tell us about yourself and your business.

At South West Photo Booths we provide a bespoke service to inject fun into any wedding, function or event, making it a night to remember. Based in Devon, we operate all over the South West of England, including Coverall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset. We have attendants with an amazing wealth of knowledge, and multiple booths varying in styles and sizes.

Why would you recommend a couple hiring a photo booth for their wedding in addition to a photographer?

A photobooth provides endless fun and entertainment for you and your guests. It is a delightful ice breaker that encourages mingling and laughter ensuring that guests of all ages enjoy the celebrations. A professional photographer captures your planned group and family shots, but in our photo booths, we bring out the fun, unscripted moments. Printed photo booth shots make for fantastic wedding favours that guests will love and keep as a memory from your special day.

What are your top tips to a couple choosing a photo booth supplier for their wedding?

  • Ask your venue, wedding co-ordinator or event planner for their recommended supplier
  • Check reviews from previous clients
  • Be nosey! Have a look through previous event galleries on each suppliers website
  • Check suppliers social media activity
  • Consider if suppliers pricing seems too good to be true
  • Check the supplier has a secure and easy to use booking procedure
  • Don't be afraid to ask questions

What are the different types of photo booths that are available to hire?

We have 6 different style photo booths to choose from:

  • Enclosed Photobooth
  • Magic Mirror
  • Beauty Booth

Tell us about your favourite client wedding.

We were booked to attend a wedding in Summer 2022. The couple had booked some extra time with us, which isn't unusual. We received a message a few weeks before the booking asking for the names of the attendants who would be coming along. When we arrived at the venue, we had been allocated two seats at a table with other guests to enjoy the food and drink provided. The extra time booked was actually for us to be guests at their wedding breakfast, and we were actually being paid to eat and drink! The afternoon was great, as we feasted on a wonderful freshly cooked outdoor buffet, ice cream, with more food coming out as the evening went on.

How many client weddings have you been involved with?

We have been involved with around 1500 weddings.
