Hawke Barn and Tipi Spaces
We had the pleasure of attending the Hawke Barn x Tipi Spaces Open Day on Saturday 9th September 2023. Both suppliers have together created a flexible and truly magical wedding venue together.
Hawke Barn
Hawke Barn is a rustic wedding and event venue based in the small village of Stoodleigh, near Tiverton, Devon. The venue is based on Thorne Farm, which spans over 250 acres of countryside, hills, meadows and woodland. The venue also includes a tranquil lake and stables. Hawke Barn is very accessible, being just 20 minutes from junction 27 of the M5 and there is plenty of onsite parking.
Hawke Barn have a number of packages available, with 2, 3 and 5 day celebrations available. The barn itself can accommodate up to 60 guests for a ceremony and seated wedding breakfast. There are also a number of outdoor ceremony and drinks reception options.
As well as being a wedding and events venue, Thorne Farm also has a number of holiday cottages available to rent. There is a two bedroom Bridal Suite within the west wing of the house, as well as two further newly renovated barns with 2 and 3 bedrooms. Both barns also have their own terrace and hot tub! In total, the accommodation located at Thorne Farm can host between 15-19 guests.
Tipi Spaces
For couples who are looking for a larger wedding in excess of 60 guests, you can still host your wedding at Hawke Barn with the assistance of Tipi Spaces. They are proud to be the only hire company to supply ivory white Nordic tipi for wedding and events throughout Devon and the West Country. As well as providing tipis, they also have further items available to hire, including dance floors, furniture, soft furnishings and decor.
Tipi Spaces have a number of packages available, depending on your guest numbers and the space available at your venue. With wedding laws having recently become more flexible, you can now get married outside within the grounds of a licensed venue. You can therefore host your whole wedding celebration within the tipi's if you wish, all the way from the ceremony, to the wedding breakfast and the evening reception.
