CONCEPT, PLANNING AND CO-ORDINATION: BECKA, LUNO & STELLA

Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I am the Founder and Events Planner at Luno & Stella Weddings and Events. I am absolutely obsessed with all things weddings, and love helping couples create their dream day! Alongside this, I also have a legal career. I was a 2023 Bride myself and have a lovely husband and our fur baby, Lennie. 

What inspired you to be involved in this campaign shoot?

Launching my business in the wedding industry, I was keen to organise my first styled shoot, but wanted it to be one that was meaningful and influential. I was also keen to get to know lots of my fellow wedding suppliers. 

Having been a 2023 Bride myself, I found the dress shopping process quite daunting, alongside the pressure of seeing images of the 'normal' bride on social media platforms. 

I therefore came up with the idea of the 'Every Bride is Beautiful' Campaign Shoot to bring together women of all different shapes, sizes, styles, ethnitcies, ages and disabilities, aiming to show that whatever your qualities, you can be a beautiful bride.

What is your favourite thing about working in the wedding industry?

Every couples wedding day is really unique to them and I absolutely love helping them build their dream days.  It has also been fantastic to meet and work with lots of amazing suppliers, who are all so lovely and supportive of each other's successes. 

What is your proudest achievement?

I am proud to have started a business in an industry and absolutely love, as well as my qualifications and awards acheived in my legal career. 

Which women inspire you the most and why?

Definitely my Mum - she is the strongest, most loving and hard working woman I know. I'm very lucky to have her. Also, all of the amazing wedding industry women who have built successful businesses.

Every single woman should be treated fairly and equally, to both each other and to men, regardless of their personalities and qualities.
